Free Emergency Pet Care
You're savings lives, let us help you while you're doing it.
Thank you for your selfless action, fearless attitudes and constant self sacrifice.
We know your pet doesn't understand why you're suddenly gone so often or for such long hours. And we know that this thought could weigh heavily on your mind during this critically important time in the fight to slow the spread of the CV-19 virus. Let us help you, while you help us.
Our network of committed professionals has been working hard to mobilize resources to ensure your pet has amazing care in the days, weeks and months to come.
We are committed to providing free emergency pet care services like dog walking, cat visits, pet feeding, and dog boarding to as many pets as possible to help support you, our front-line heroes. Our network of fundraisers and volunteers are hard at work maximizing the amount of free services that can be made available.
Any services requested that cannot be provided for free due to lack of available resources will be subsidized and provided at or below cost. All administrative functions and boarding facilities have been donated by the hard working professionals of BFF as our tiny way of saying Thank You for your incredible sacrifice.
Free Dog Boarding
If you are in a critical support role and unable to care for your dog we are providing free boarding across the GTA in the private residences of our employees and volunteers and at our 10 acre private pet vacation resort in Prince Edward County (with free round trip shuttles).
Our professional pet care team is well trained, very experienced and incredibly eager to help you.
Additional services available include:
Cat or puppy visits
Feeding small pets
Grocery Runs (get some sleep!)
Our biggest challenge in the days to come may be one of spirit, not finance. We want to help.
Free emergency pet care will be provided to as many critical care workers as possible.
We know that our Healthcare and Emergency Services require a vast number of front-line and support roles and all workers engaged in the fight to slow the spreed of CV-19 will be considered eligible for services.
Free services will be provided based on our best ability to logically have the largest impact on support.
Examples of eligible roles include Police Services, Fire Services, Toronto Paramedic Services, Hospital Health Care Workers, Hospital Administrators, Hospital Custodial Staff & General Support Staff.
We will review every request as they are received and will provide prioritized emergency care to as many pets as possible.
If you would like to make a monetary donation for a specific service (boarding, cat vists, etc.), or if you would like to make a custom donation from your pet's existing passes please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with details to facilitate your donation.
