Resolution #1: Be more active.
Well... this is a kind of no brainer. Depending on your pup's breed, they could probably do with some exercise. Check what gear you'll need for the weather (HOT or COLD) and head outside. There are places around the city that offer dog yoga, otherwise known as Doga. Try grabbing a leash that wraps around your body for an easy way to run with your pup. Or better yet, try running around in a foot of snow at Trinity Bellwoods. LEG DAY WOO!
Resolution # 2: Use my time more wisely.
You probably bought an agenda. Maybe you're going to try bullet journaling for the first time! It's exciting finally getting your life together (no judgement). Did you know your pup can really benefit from a routine or schedule? Don't forget to fit them into your new schedule. Whether it's exercising with you, cuddling while reading a book, or trying new recipes, bring your pup along! Alternatively, maybe your pup needs something to do while you get stuff done like a (girl)boss! Try bringing them to Playcare. Getting those beans out gives you time for your checklist.
Resolution #3: Be more creative
Paint your pupper, anyone? These kind of events and classes happen all over the city! My favourite is where you send a picture of your pup and they draw it for you. You go in and paint it in! Having trouble finding them? A quick google search will provide loads of options. Another way to bring out your creative side is with a camera. Dog instagrams are super popular and a great way to give your camera a new life. Try new filters, editing techniques, and just have fun! You'll never know what will come from it.
Why not try your hand at knitting a sweater for your dog? It's super easy. If that sounds like it'll take too long because you have a mastiff (I feel ya), try knitting a cowl or scarf for them. Whether it's being creative for your pupper or with your pupper, there are endless possibilities.
