If you have ever posted a question about training online or requested feedback
from an open forum you will have likely experienced the swift and often abhorrent
responses that typically follow even the simplest of reader recommendations. If
there is one thing we can say for sure it’s that some people have very strong,
very narrow attitudes towards education when it comes to animals. Do your best
to siphon those negative folks out though, and you will find a vast online
community of fellow dog lovers that are eager and willing to lend some advice or
share their experience with you.
When it comes to training do not let people bully you into training their way. You need to do what’s right for you and your pup. Educate yourself as best you can and make the decisions that are right for you. This is your relationship to foster and as long as it includes exercise, patience, structure and lots of love you will be just fine. Enjoy your training time, it’s a special opportunity to bond with your pup!
success when you meet your goals.
